This Privacy Policy explains how mukk collects, uses, and protects your information. Please read this alongside our Terms of Service and Mukker Agreement.
When you create an account: first and last name (only your first name is ever shown publicly), date of birth, gender, suburb, email address.
Optional profile information: gyms or clubs, activities, "vibe" tags, a profile photo, whether Singles mode is on.
When you use mukk: mukks you create, join, or attend, messages, activities logged manually or imported from Apple Health / Google Health Connect (read-only), and any reports, blocks, or Vibes Off signals you submit.
Location precision: for most mukks, only your suburb is shown publicly. The exact meeting location is shared only with accepted participants.
Payment information: processed by Apple or Google directly. mukk does not see or store your card details.
We use your information to show you relevant mukks and people nearby, let you connect and message others, calculate your reliability rating, keep the platform safe, process your signing fee and any partner or founder codes, and send notifications you've opted into.
AI-assisted features: if you use "help me word this," the text you provide is sent to OpenAI to help draft suggested wording, which you always review before posting.
Safety review: messages and mukk content are automatically screened for safety concerns before delivery. Genuine safety reports are reviewed by a real person.
We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties.
Your profile, mukks, messages, photos and activity are stored in Australia.

We can't promise where these providers store or process information, and that may change over time. We choose them carefully and send them only what they need.
You can control who can connect with you, message you, and see your age, choose your location precision, turn Singles mode on or off, and request a copy of your data or account deletion by contacting us.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, most personal data is removed, though we may retain limited records where necessary for safety, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes.
mukk is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll let you know of any significant changes within the app.
